Is there a better group these days than The Avett Brothers? I mean, is there? They are pretty much awesome. And they have a new record that just dropped this past Friday. It's called "True Sadness." And it's filled with, well, sadness - - but in kind of a happy way. And it's loaded with great songs. 

I first saw The Avett Brothers when they appeared at the XPN Music Festival in Camden, New Jersey, a couple of years ago. I was able to (shhhh....don't tell anyone!) sneak up to the front row. And wow! They put on an amazing show. The energy. The amazing musicians. The fabulous songs. I mean, I could do a song a day on The Avett Brothers for a few months. But for now let's just do this one.
